For centuries, traditional timber gates dominated residential properties. The reasons were obvious: wood was widely available, relatively inexpensive, and craftsmen knew how to work with it. Metal gates existed, but they cost significantly more and required specialist fabrication. Composites have seemingly taken the market by storm - and it seems they're here to stay.
