Furthermore, for added visual appeal, the Royale Ascot design includes two rows of timeless wrought iron style fleur-de-ly finials, caged metal work and other decorative elements. The bottom half features dog bars with reduced spacings, making it a great choice if you have pets, as this will help prevent them from escaping onto the road. Factory-primed black with an undercoat paint during fabrication, it is supplied ready to be painted to the colour of your choice before fitting the product. A pair of surface-mounted adjustable hinges allow the gate to be mounted directly to existing masonry surfaces of existing posts, whilst the simple-to-operate latch mechanism can be quickly secured using a padlock.

• Width (Fits Opening): This measurement refers to the opening size required between masonry walls or pre-existing posts. The space needed for the hinges and latch is included in this measurement; therefore, you do not need to make additional adjustments for these components.

• Height (once installed): The dimension is calculated from ground level to the top of the horizontal framework. It contains a 50mm (2") allocation for ground clearance but excludes the finials above this point.

Example Ordering Size

If the space between walls or posts is 920mm, you must select the option that "fits an opening of 920mm."

Are Metal Posts Required?

You must install metal posts if the hinges and latch cannot be attached to brickwork or existing posts. Please note that you will require more space in these instances.

Example: If you select a gate to "fit an opening of 920mm" and combine it with 2 x 100mm posts, the total width required will become 1120mm.
