The Royale Grange is available in a selection of sizes and includes surface-mounted adjustable hinges, a sliding latch that you can quickly secure with a padlock and a factory-applied black primer undercoat ready to be painted to the colour of your choice before installation.

• Width (Fits Opening): This measurement relates to the width of the opening you will need to have between walls or posts. The dimensions already include the space taken up by the hinges and latch, so you don't need to make any additional calculations.

• Height (once installed): This contains a ground clearance allowance of 50mm (2"). This dimension is from the ground to the top of the arch. The finials above this measurement are not included.

Example Ordering Size

If the width of your entrance or the current gap between posts is 920mm, you must select a gate constructed to fit an opening of 920mm.

Are Metal Posts Needed?

You will need to install metal posts if there is no support for the hinges or latch. If these items are required, you must note that you will need additional space.

Example: If you select a gate to fit an opening of 920mm and 2 x 100mm metal posts, the overall space required will be 1120mm.

Metal Posts: When these components are required, you must use the correct post type. "In-ground posts" must be set to the proper depth and will need to be stabilised with concrete.

Installation: Only affix the hinges and latch to existing brickwork or posts if you are confident they will provide enough support. For further information, always read the installation instructions.

Width: The "fits opening" dimensions indicated in the menu are the gap size you will need between walls or posts. This measurement has already included the space required for the hinges and latch.
