• Width (Fits Opening): The measurements depict the size of the opening you will require between your existing posts or walls. The dimensions already account for the space needed for the latch and hinge components. You do not need to make any additional allowances for these items.

• Height (once installed): This is the distance between the ground and the top of the horizontal frame. A 50mm (2") ground clearance adjustment is incorporated into this measurement. It does not include the scrollwork above the top of the uppermost horizontal rail.

When ordering, if the distance between your brickwork or supports is 1000mm, you should pick the "fits opening 1000mm" width option from the drop-down menu.

Do You Need Metal Posts?
