Suitable for various applications around your property, installing the gate is made easy with the surface-mounted adjustable hinges and sliding latch mechanism. It's primed black with an undercoat during manufacture, so you must paint it before installation to protect it against rust and corrosion.

Ordering Sizes

• Width (Fits Opening): This is the width of the opening needed for the gate to fit. We have already accounted for the space necessary for the hinges and latch within these measurements. You do not need to make any adjustments for these elements.

• Height (once installed): This includes a 50mm (2") adjustment for ground clearance. This is the distance between the ground and the top horizontal frame. It excludes the scrollwork above this point.

Example Ordering Size

If the opening width between your walls measures 1000mm, you must select a gate designed to "fit an opening of 1000mm".

Are Metal Posts Required?

You will need to install metal posts if no suitable masonry structure is available. It is important to ensure adequate support for the hinges and latch. Please note that if these items are required, you will need to have additional space available for these components.

Example: A gate to fit an opening of 1000mm combined with 2 x 80mm metal posts will require an overall width of 1160mm.
