They have an appealing arch top, a double row of fleur-de-lys finials, 12mm x 6mm wrought iron style scrolls, 16mm round metal infill bars, and a steel framework consisting of 40mm x 30mm hanging stiles, 40mm x 20mm closing stiles and a 40mm x 10mm cross rail. These fantastic double gates are appropriate for various residential installations where the addition of an efficient and long-lasting physical security barrier will benefit the property owner. The Royale Grange comes in multiple sizes and has surface-mounted adjustable hinges, a sliding latch that can be swiftly secured with a padlock, and an in-ground drop bolt. In addition, a factory-applied black primer undercoat is sprayed on all steel surfaces during manufacture, meaning that they are ready to be painted to the colour of your choice before installation.

• Width (Fits Opening): Please utilize the drop-down menu at the top of the page to specify the size you need. Please be aware that the measurements depict the size of the aperture into which the gates will fit. The space required for the hinge and latch components is already factored into these dimensions, so no additional calculations are needed. 

• Height (once installed): This dimension includes a 50mm margin for ground clearance. It is measured vertically, beginning at the ground and stopping at the top of the framework. We have not included the finials welded to the top of the frame within this measurement.

Example Ordering Size

When the distance between your brickwork, posts, or other existing support structure is 4270mm, select "fits opening 4270mm" from the drop-down menu.

Do You Need to Include Metal Posts?

If you add metal posts, remember that these components will occupy additional space.

Example: The total amount of space needed will increase to 4570mm if the size option "fits opening 4270mm" is selected and you include two metal posts measuring 150mm each.

Important Information About the Royale Grange Estate Gates 

Fittings: The hardware we offer with each gate makes installation simple. With each set of gates, we provide you with a latch fitting, surface-mounted adjustable hinges, and an in-ground drop bolt. We do not provide the screws/bolts needed for installation.

Posts: In-ground posts must be embedded in concrete to maintain stability. Be sure you use the right amount of concrete and avoid adding any rocks or other items that might weaken the strength of the post.

Installation: Only use masonry that can support the added weight of the gates if you plan to mount the hinges to attach the hinges directly onto existing brickwork. Please consult the installation instructions if you require any more information.

Width: The menu's "fits opening" specifications show the opening size required between your posts or walls. It does not display the physical width of the product. If you are confused about what size to get, we recommend reading our post on "how to pick the proper size."

Painting: You receive the Royale Grange Wrought Iron Style Estate Gates with a black primed undercoat already applied. Before installation, you must paint all the steel surfaces to stop the development of rust and corrosion. Alternatively, contact us before placing your order if you wish to upgrade to a low-maintenance electro-galvanized (zinc-plated) and black powder-coated paint finish.
