The 4ft high Manor Metal Driveway Gates have an archtop combined with a double row of ball top finials, making them an excellent addition for any residential driveway entrance. They are manufactured from solid steel and include a 25mm x 10mm framework, 12mm round metal infill bars and simple finials. Suitable for numerous opening sizes, these stunning double gates are strong, robust, and excellent value for money.

Ordering Sizes

• Width (Fits Opening): This measurement is the opening size you will need for the gates to fit. We have already included the space required for the hinges and latch. You do not need to make any calculations or other allowances for these items. To avoid confusion, this means that if your brickwork opening size is 7ft, you should order the gates to "fit opening 7ft".

• Physical Height: This measurement is from the bottom of the framework to the top of the highest finials. The additional space you will need for ground clearance is not included.

Do You Need To Buy Metal Posts?

For installations that need to use metal posts, it is important to understand that additional space will be required.

Example: The Manor arched double metal gates designed to "fit an opening" of 7ft combined with 2 x 2" posts will take up a total overall space of 7ft 4".

Useful Information About the Manor Wrought Iron Style Metal Driveway Gates

Fittings: We supply a fitting pack with all double gates. This contains surface-mounted hinges, a latch and an in-ground drop bolt. We do not include the screws you will require to mount the hinge brackets.

Posts: Any metal posts used must be the correct size and style to give the proper level of support. When installing these, they will need to be sunk into the ground and held in place with concrete.

Installation: You should only fix the hinges direct to existing brickwork if it is capable of taking the additional weight of the gates. For more information, refer to the installation guide.

Width: The ordering sizes shown in the drop-down menu are the gap size you require. They do not refer to the physical width of the gates. If you are uncertain what this means, refer to the "Ordering Sizes" section above or click here for further clarification.

Painting: Manor metal driveway gates are supplied with a low maintenance, zinc plated and black powder-coated paint finish and are ready to install without the need for painting.
