Ordering Sizes

• Width: The proportions that say "fits opening" indicate how wide an opening is required between existing pillars or posts. This dimension takes into account the space needed for the mounting brackets. No more calculations are required.

• Physical Height: This is the actual height of the product. It does not include the space you will need to allow for ground clearance.

Do You Need to Use Bolt-Down Metal Posts?

You must utilise bolt-down metal posts if you cannot install the railings between existing brick pillars. You must thus account for the additional space needed for these components.

Ordering Example (when using posts)

• 1 x railing and 2 x 50mm bolt-down metal posts will need a total space of 1930mm.

• 2 x railings and 3 x 50mm bolt-down metal posts will need an overall length of 3810mm.

• 3 x railings and 4 x 50mm bolt-down metal posts need a total space of 5690mm.

Which Metal Posts to Choose?

Our universal bolt-down posts have a plate welded to the base that you will need to secure to the top of the wall using the appropriate fixings. If you find yourself in need of these items, we recommend the following:

Fittings: Every railing comes with a fitting kit. Included are four mounting brackets and bolts. Our offer does not include the screws required to secure the brackets to the brickwork or posts.

Metal Posts: If you are utilising bolt-down metal posts, ensure the wall is wide enough to fit the bottom plate completely.

Width: The "fits opening" dimension is the space that must be available between brick pillars or posts. It doesn't denote the physical width of the railing. For clarification, refer to our comprehensive measuring guides.

Painting: The Regent metal railings are zinc-plated (electro-galvanised) for added durability and have a black powder-coated paint finish. They do not need any other painting before installation.
