The Hampton Arched Wrought Iron Style Estate Gates are a new design to our portfolio and are available to buy online in various sizes to suit most residential applications. They are designed to deliver optimum levels of stiffness and rigidity while being very affordable in terms of price. These classic double metal driveway gates are handcrafted in the UK from high-quality steel components. They include a 25mm x 25mm box section framework, attractive arch top rail, and fleur-de-lys finials offset to the vertical 16mm tube infill bars. Perfect for easy DIY installation, the gates include several components, including surface-mounted adjustable hinges, wall-mounted brackets, a latch mechanism and a drop bolt. During fabrication, the steel surfaces are primed with a black undercoat, so they will need to be painted before you install them to ensure proper protection against the elements.

• Handmade in the UK.

• Choose from a selection of standard sizes (contact us for made-to-measure sizes).

• They feature a double row of attractive fleur-de-lys finials.

• Constructed with a 25mm x 25mm box section steel framework, 25mm x 10mm flat bar solid steel top rail and 16mm tube infill bars. This construction method helps reduce the weight of the gates without compromising on strength.

• Supplied with adjustable surface-mounted hinges, latch and drop bolt.

• The steel is black primed with an undercoat. You must paint all exposed surfaces before installation to protect against rust and corrosion.

• Suitable for automation, although you may need to make some modifications depending on the automation type you use.

Ordering Sizes

• Width (Fits Opening): Please choose the size you need from the drop-down menu at the top of the page. You must understand that the sizes shown represent the opening into which the pair of gates will fit. We have already incorporated the space necessary for the hinge and latch mechanisms into these dimensions. No additional calculations are required.

• Height (once installed): This is measured from the ground to the top of the horizontal framework. It includes a 50mm tolerance for ground clearance. The height does not include the finials positioned on top of the frame.

Example Ordering Size

When the space between your brickwork, posts or other existing support structure measures 2900mm, you must select the width option "fits opening 2900mm" from the drop-down menu.

Do You Need to Include Metal Posts?

If you need to add metal posts due to a lack of an acceptable support structure, keep in mind that you will need more room for the components.

Example: If you choose the option "fits opening 2900mm" and incorporate 2 x 100mm metal posts, the total overall space needed will become 3100mm.

Important Information About the Hampton Arch Top Estate Gates 

Fittings: Each set of gates includes the latch fitting, surface-mounted adjustable hinges, and an in-ground drop bolt. The hinge brackets do not come with the screws needed for installation.

Posts: Strong and durable posts must provide support if a masonry structure is not present. If you opt for in-ground posts, ensure they're well-anchored and supported by concrete.

Installation: The hinges should only be mounted onto your existing brickwork, provided it is strong enough to support the weight of the gates. For more details, please refer to the installation instructions.

Width: The menu's "fits opening" criteria specify the opening size between brickwork or posts. It does not depict the physical width of the product. Please read and abide by the instructions on our "how to pick the appropriate size" page if you are unclear about the size to order.

Painting: The Hampton Wrought Iron Style Estate Gates are primed with a black undercoat throughout the production process. To prevent rust and corrosion, all surfaces must be painted before installation.
