Ordering Example (when using posts)

  • 1 x railing and 2 x 50mm bolt-down metal posts need a total space of 1930mm.

  • 2 x railings and 3 x 50mm bolt-down metal posts need an overall length of 3810mm.

  • 3 x railings and 4 x 50mm bolt-down metal posts need a total space of 5690mm.

Crucial Information About the Abbey Wrought Iron Style Metal Railing

Fittings: We include a fitting kit with each railing that you order. It contains 4 x surface-mounted brackets and nuts, and bolts. We do not supply you with the screws required to attach the brackets to your brickwork or posts.

Metal Posts: When using metal posts, you must check that the wall is wide enough to accommodate the bolt-down plate of the post.

Width: The "fits opening" dimension correlates to the opening size you must have. It does not denote the physical width of the product. If you are confused, we recommend you go to the measuring guide and fully understand what this means.

Painting: Steel surfaces are zinc plated (electro-galvanised) for added rust resistance and have a black powder-coated paint finish. You do not need to complete additional painting of the railings before installing them.
