Fittings: Please select the appropriate fitting pack from the options and accessories menu above if you want to order the hinges and latch to go with the 3ft high Gloucester gate.

Posts: We recommend using wooden posts (available to order above) when installing the gate. If you are wall mounting the posts, then you should use appropriate fixings (not included). Freestanding posts will need to be set into concrete to a depth of approximately 600mm - 900mm. To allow for expansion of the timber, the gap formed between the posts should be approximately 20mm wider than the physical width of the gate.

Finish: Prior to installation, all exposed wood surfaces should be painted or stained to ensure maximum longevity of the wood and prevent rotting or decaying.

Installation: Hook and band type hinges are recommended for installation of this gate. They should be fitted to the horizontal bracing for the best level of support. For more information, refer to our installation guide.
