• Compatible with most gate automation kits however some alterations may be required depending on the type of system you have.

• A selection of compatible hinges, fittings and accessories are available to purchase separately.

Useful Information About the Salisbury Wooden Estate Gates | High Centre

Physical Width: The sizes displayed in the menu refer to the actual width of both gates. To avoid any confusion, this means each pair comprises the following:

• 7ft pair = 2 x 3ft 6”

• 8ft pair = 2 x 4ft

• 9ft pair = 2 x 4ft 6”

• 10ft pair = 2 x 5ft

• 11ft pair = 2 x 5ft 6”

• 12ft pair = 2 x 6ft

Physical Height: This is the actual height of the gates. We have not made any allowance for ground clearance.

Posts: Wooden posts should always be used when installing the gates. The gap formed between the posts should be 40mm wider than the actual width of the gates to allow space for the hinges and latch.

Finish: The timber used during manufacture is smooth planed untreated softwood. The gates will need to be stained or painted before you install them.

Installation: You should only use suitable hook and band-type hinges (not included with the gates). You must securely attach the hinges to the horizontal top and bottom rails for maximum support. For more details, refer to the installation guide.
